Terms of Service

These terms govern use of Inviro, operated by Etak Digital (Pty) Ltd. By creating an account or using a trial, demo, or paid subscription, a tenant (the tutoring business) agrees to them.

Account responsibilities

  • The tenant admin is responsible for the accuracy of information entered about their learners, staff, and pricing, and for obtaining any consent required to collect and process that information (see our Privacy Policy).
  • Login credentials for admin, teacher, and assistant accounts must not be shared beyond the person they were issued to.
  • A tenant is responsible for reviewing proof-of-payment submissions and invoice accuracy before approving or sending them — Inviro provides the tools, the tenant makes the calls.

Payment terms

  • New tenants get a trial period before billing begins. Trial length and what happens at trial end is being finalised — see the in-app messaging for current terms.
  • Subscription fees are based on active learner count, calculated on the 1st of each month from that month's learner count at that moment.
  • Parent-facing payments (tuition, registration fees) collected via Yoco or EFT are between the tenant and their parents — Etak Digital is not a party to those transactions beyond providing the payment-link infrastructure.

Acceptable use

Inviro may not be used to:

  • Store or process information about anyone without a lawful basis to do so.
  • Attempt to access another tenant's data.
  • Circumvent rate limiting, upload validation, or other security controls built into the service.
  • Resell or sublicense access to the platform without our agreement.

Liability

Inviro is provided on an "as is" basis. We work to keep the service reliable and secure, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted availability, and our liability for any claim arising from use of the service is limited to the fees paid by the tenant in the three months preceding the claim. This section is a working draft and should be reviewed by a lawyer before being relied on as a binding limitation of liability.
